Bundt cake sorpresa

¿Empezamos?

Do you want to impress someone on the table? The bundt cake that we will learn to do today doesn't leave anyone indifferent . " But , how did you do that ?"  Surely , you will hear this phrase . I learned to do this kind of bundt with a tutorial of I love Bundt Cakes and when Spice Roots proposed as the challenge for #BundtBakers in April to bake a cake with a hidden surprise, I said " let's go!"  Shall we start ?

INGREDIENTES

INGREDIENTS
FOR RED VELVET
2 eggs • 200 gr. of butter • 200 gr. of milk • the juice of a lemon • red coloring • 280 gr. of flour • 240 gr. of sugar • 1 teaspoon of cocoa • a pinch of salt • 1 teaspoon of baking soda • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

FOR THE CAKE:
3 eggs • 220 gr. of butter • 220 gr. of flour • 220 gr. sugar • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

Come to the point. The trick is to make two different cakes. I chose a classic butter cake and red velvet for the inner part. You can choose the flavors you want. The important thing, obviously, is to bake two cake of different color. In today's recipe we will get a red star thanks to coloring red velvet, but if you don't use food coloring, you can make a chocolate cake.

We begin with inside sponge  To make red velvet, put together milk and lemon and wait 10 minutes. Meanwhile, beat the butter with the sugar until it whitens. Then add the eggs one by one, baking powder and cocoa. Then the milk and the coloring. Finally, add the flour and, as it is integrated, put the dough into a round pan.

Bake at 170 degrees for 40 minutes or until you prick the cake with a knife and it comes out clean. Unmold, let cool on a wire rack and choose a cookie cutter. I chose a star shape.

When the cake is cool, cut it in half ( as you see in the first photo os the collage). Each party has to have no more than the height of the cutter. If not , the cut will not be perfect. Make all the figures and go to the second cake.

In this case, it is a basic butter cake. So, beat butter with sugar, add the eggs one at a time, then the baking powder and finally the flour. Choose a bundt pan and threw half of the dough to cover the base .

Now, place the stars of red velvet as you see in the third photo of the collage, and finally, cover with the remaining dough . Return to the oven. Again, 40 minutes at 170 degrees.
